Uligan: Northernmost of the Maldives
An Indian Ocean coral atoll.
Contrary to our expectations we acually had wind for most of the crossing from Sri Lanka.
Having sailed most of the way from Sri Lanka we needed only 20 liters of fuel, which had to come from the Hanimaadhoo 25 miles to the south.
The boat harbor on Uligan looked deep enough for Eva.
An old bronze rivited wooden boat.
Mostly sand and palms.
Just one of these wind generators would have been enough to power most of Uligan on a windy day, there was no wind at all when we were there.
Hermit crabs covered the beach.
